Gibbs Hill track in Abel Tasman National Park is open for Mountainbikers from May 1st. Get the details on the Noticeboard Update on areas to keep out of due to logging as at 3/4/2009 Please keep right off the Dun Mountain track from Tantragee to the crossroads. Access to Third House can be gained up the Classic from Upper Brook St. Fringed Hill - logging really cranking up in two separate spots, above the Dun Trail and on the Maitai face of the hill. Plenty of action here, so please comply with all access signage. Hira Forest - No public access Monday to Friday Currently there are logging crews working at: Central Rd - harvesting continues behind the Gun Club with hauling out down Central/Sharlands Rd. Additionally: Sharlands Hill (Fireball Rd/Tantragee Saddle/Groom Rd) - harvesting tidy up still underway, no access.
